Don’t call it uncertainty – call it wonder.Don’t call it insecurity – call it freedom.
Life is not a mechanical process; it cannot be certain. It is inevitably an unpredictable mystery. Nobody knows what is going to happen in the next moment, let alone in the next year, but this is a good thing. If we always knew what was going to happen, life would be unbearable. Without uncertainty there is no freedom, and no choice. Without uncertainty there is no possibility for growth and change. If everything were predestined, then there would be no chance at glory, no chance at grandeur. We would be no more than robots![googmonify]4494413162:right:250:250[/googmonify]
But the fact is nothing is secure. Nothing is certain. Life is full of surprises – and that is its beauty. The grand tapestry of life continues to weave unpredictably, and it is that uncertainty that affords you a sense of personal freedom. So don’t call it insecurity and get stressed out about it. See that glass half full!
The only place you find significant certainty is in prison. Everything is a dead routine day in and day out. You know you’ll get to eat, you’ll definitely have a roof over your head, but there is no freedom. Is that a compromise you’d be willing to make? I’m guessing that you would probably choose your freedom over all the “security” this world could offer.
If you can become comfortable with this world of constant change then you are always ready to adapt to new circumstances and act proactively. Accepting this uncertain world as it is rather than fighting against uncertainty puts us in a position to be an active and powerful participant in the tapestry. So, embrace insecurities, celebrate uncertainties and enjoy your freedom. Life is in you today and you can make your future.
