The Most Important Components of Success for Real Estate Investors
I've been involved in education for a better part of my life. I think life is about loving, learning and leaving a legacy. During the last two decades I have devoted my time to learning, writing, researching, teaching, and consulting. Therefore, I can tell you with confidence why so many people fail in business in general and more specifically in real estate.
[googmonify]4494413162:right:250:250[/googmonify]Most real estate investors are capricious and impulsive in nature. In the first place they really don't know what real estate niche is appropriate for them and therefore they attend all types of seminars at the cost of thousands just to find what they're looking for. In the process they choose one niche, work on it for a while until they find something else that might look more attractive. They also have the propensity to jump from one bandwagon to the next according to what they hear in the news or from their friends or relatives. Ultimately, what will happen is a total state of confusion because there are too many alternatives. They don't realize that only lack of alternatives will clear the mind. In other words, clarity and therefore power to act comes from choosing the right niche and sticking to it for at least 5 years.
Ability to stay with one thing for an extended period of time is perhaps the most important component of success. Clearly, there are many other elements such as vision, values, responsibility, self confidence, etc. but to commit yourself to one niche for 5 years has got to be the most vital. It almost seems easier to jump around than to stay focused. Perhaps it's the sign of our fast paced society that causes so many to have short attention spans. But whatever the reason may be this behavior must change in order to produce your desired results.
To help investors gain the ability to laser focus on their niche, I have developed an entirely new course which I believe will be the answer to this pervasive uncertainty about what your real niche should be. This is a required course for every beginner and intermediate investor if they wish to get back on track and avoid wasting their money on irrelevant seminars and workshops. You see, every niche has certain characteristics that may not necessarily fit into your skill set and resources. Therefore, it is imperative you find the niche that's right for you before you get paralyzed by information overload. I believe even expert investors can find this course valuable because it will open their eyes to unlimited possibilities that exist in the market, as I'm covering about a dozen niches in my presentation.
I will be presenting this new seminar at one of our club meetings in the very near future and with it I hope to open a new and exciting chapter on real estate education: one that's designed to help you find your right niche according to your specific abilities, capabilities and resources.
By the way, I highly encourage you to attend this month's meeting with yours truly, Peter Apostolos and our team of experts from Investor Funding Services / Skypoint Mortgage. We will be presenting an exciting and informative seminar on hard money lending and note buying. I hope to see you at our next meeting on June 24.
