Embrace the Power of Interdependency
Life is, by nature, highly interdependent. This is scientifically proven in quantum physics. To try to achieve maximum effectiveness through independence is like trying to play tennis with a golf club - the tool is not suited to the reality.
Interdependence is a far more mature, more advanced concept. For instance, if I am physically interdependent, I am self reliant and capable, but I also realize you and I working together can accomplish far more than I could on my own, even if I'm at my best.
If I am emotionally interdependent, I derive a great sense of worth within myself, but I also realize the need for love, for giving, and for receiving love from others.
If I am intellectually interdependent, I realize that I need the best thinking of other people to join with my own.
In the words of John Donne, the great poet of the 17th century:
No man is an island,
Entire of itself,
Every man is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thy friend's
Or of thine own were:
Any man's death diminishes me,
Because I am involved in mankind,
And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls;
It tolls for thee.
Embrace humanity as one and find people who can help you realize your greatness, while you do the same for them.
This is my philosophy in life and in business. I've tried all other options and realized this is the one meant for us on earth at this very special time.
Best regards,
Sam
