Fear is an Illusion!

I realize times are tough for some folks and downright dreadful for others.  At the same time I see many others that are thriving.  So, if the economy is so bad why do we have only 10% unemployment?  To me that's 90 employment.  The fact is life has two sides, the eternal duality or dichotomy that's inherent in our very existence.  Pleasure without pain is meaningless, as success is without failure and abundance is without scarcity.  As Shakespeare once said; nothing is inherently good or bad, it's your thinking that makes it so.  So, change your thoughts and you will change your life.

The worst thing you can do these days is to go into agreement with this fear based media coverage.  Nothing sells better than instilling fear into people's hearts and mind, as fear controls and control makes them money.  Hand guns and home safes are the hottest selling items in America because people are afraid of losing their money or worse losing their lives.  I say it's imperative we change the way we think.  We can not accept the perception that the sky is falling or it will fall for sure.  You either have control over things or don't.  If you have control over it then there is nothing to worry about.  If you have no control over it then there is nothing to worry about because you can't do anything about it.  So, there goes all that you have to worry about!!

Let's allow events to unfold and let the pieces fall where they may but you can't stop living because of imaginary fears. You are safe. You are protected. You may not be able to live at the level you were accustomed to but you will live a full and happy life if you understand that external events shouldn't determine the quality of your life. All that's expected from us is to do our best with what we got and the rest is up to the Universe (God, Divine, Supreme Being).  If you truly accept what you have without resistance or condemnation, then not only will you maintain your health and sanity but also bring a sense of joy to your heart and soul.
