Discover what it is you truly enjoy doing in life...
“When you work you’re a flute through whose heart the whispering of the hours turns to music.
To love life through labor is to be intimate with life’s inmost secret.
All work is empty save when there is love, for work is love made visible.”
Khalil Gibran
Every time I read this great excerpt, it reaffirms its significance in my own life. There was a time, you know, that I was unhappy with my work because I wasn’t on purpose, I was not pursuing my life’s mission. When I finally recognized my passion, things began going really well for me.[googmonify]4494413162:right:250:250[/googmonify]
I now find myself flowing down the stream of life with a lot less effort and more joy. Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of people hate their jobs and that’s the main reason they’re unhappy, unfulfilled.
Do you know why most heart attacks in America happen Monday mornings at 9:00 AM than any other time? It’s perhaps the dread of going to work and doing what they despise that kills most people. So, why is it that most people keep doing the same thing and never explore the possibilities? And the answer is FEAR: the fear of the unknown, the fear of change, the fear of failure, etc. etc. Remind yourself that FEAR is nothing but “False Education Appearing Real!”
I highly recommend you go within and discover what it is you truly enjoy doing in life. Don’t be concerned about the monetary aspect of your work; the money will come if you follow your heart and passion. Just try this and see the results for yourself. Remember that when you work for someone else, you’re living out his/her dreams and not your own! Live your own life, follow your own dreams and leave a legacy for the future generations.
Best,
Sam Sadat
