The Power of Spoken Words
Be careful what you say because you just might get it. We all have heard this but very few people pay attention to it. It just seems implausible that our words have any power over our lives or does it? Well, my personal experience and research shows that words can and will affect the quality our lives. There is a lot said about how our thoughts shape our lives. In fact, some of you might have even watched The Secret, a movie about the power of thoughts.
Imagination is more important than knowledge.
There is a theory in psychology that if you form a picture in your mind of what you would like to be, and you keep and hold that picture there long enough, you will soon become exactly as you have been thinking.
Cultivate your creativity by tapping into your source of power...
“Recognized geniuses may be rare, but genius resides within all of us. There’s no such thing as “luck,” or “accident” in this cosmos; and not only is everything connected to everything else, no one is excluded from the universe – we’re all members. Consciousness, like physicality, is a universal quality; because genius is a characteristic of consciousness, genius is also universal. It follows that that which is universal is available to each and every person.”
~Power vs. Force by David Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D.
What Dr. Hawkins is telling us here is that the process of creativity and genius are inherent in all of humanity. The potential genius resides within everyone – it simply waits for the right circumstances to express itself. We all can recall moments in our life when we made a brilliant move or decision, or said exactly the right thing at the right time, without quite knowing why.
Cheerful and enthusiastic people want to associate with other upbeat people.
I often hear people telling me that they don’t seem to be able to make real connections with others in the course of their business activities and therefore miss out on some golden opportunities. I always advise that they learn to manage their moods. The reality is that every mood seeks companionship. Just as misery loves company, cheerful and enthusiastic people want to associate with other upbeat people. If you are unable to match your energy with the energy of the person you’re speaking with, chances are they will not choose to do business with you.
Stand tall, speak your mind, and believe in yourself...
Start the New Year on the right track. Make a decision to be the master of your thoughts. What you think has enormous power over what you say to yourself and others, and what will eventually manifest: good, bad, or ugly! The real trick is to harmonize your thoughts, words, and actions. This harmony will put you in the driver’s seat of your life.
We become what we think about all day long!
“There is a law in psychology that if you form a picture in your mind of what you would like to be, and you keep and hold that picture there long enough, you will soon become exactly as you have been thinking.”
William James
Many consider William James the father of modern psychology. He fully understood the power of human mind and creative visualization. The fact is that we become what we think about all day long! So, what are you thinking about most of the time? How do you see yourself in your mind’s eye? Do you see yourself as one who has unlimited potential capable of achieving any objective or a victim of circumstances? Do you believe that life events create your reality or do you use the events as stepping stones toward accomplishing your goals?
Apply your knowledge and make things happen...
We wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous new year.
Our new year’s resolution is to bring education, knowledge and power to your real estate investing.
Some people say that education is power, I personally believe that knowledge alone is not enough. It is only potential power, meaning it has the ability to supply you with power but does not give you it. The only way to attain power is by applying your knowledge and making things happen.
